It is very important that appropriate analyses be used as a basis for design. To this end a full Function Analysis and Allocation (FAA) will be performed. The FAA [Function Analysis and Allocation] will consider the operating extremes, including normal operating conditions and abnormal operating conditions. Emergency activities are included in this analysis. These analyses will address function allocation in the MCR [main control room]. In addition, a full review will consider: a) the Annunciation System, b) the hardwired panels, c) the computerized screen displays, and d) computerized controls.

Il est très important que des analyses appropriées soient faites, sur lesquelles s'appuiera la conception.
