Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
On 1 January 1998, the cities previously comprised in the "Metro(politan) Toronto" or the "Greater Toronto" (among them the previous cities of Toronto, of North York, of Scarborough, of York, of Etobicoke, and the old town of East York) were merged to become the new "city of Toronto." On that date, the previous regional administrative body ceased to exist; there should thus no longer be mention of the "Greater Toronto", the "Metro Toronto" or the "Metropolitain Toronto." 2, record 1, English, - Metropolitan%20Toronto

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
3, record 1, French, - communaut%C3%A9%20urbaine%20de%20Toronto
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS
3, record 1, French, - communaut%C3%A9%20urbaine%20de%20Toronto
