OBS

En français, on trouve très souvent le synonyme «modéliste», ce dernier terme devrait être à éviter car il désigne déjà soit la personne qui réalise des modèles réduits, soit le créateur de modèles de collection dans une maison de haute couture. En anglais, les dictionnaires généraux n'attestent que la variante «modeler» bien que le terme «modeler» soit aussi employé couramment.
