Cuando compramos enlatados que están golpeados, oxidados o inflados, estos contienen bacterias productoras de enfermedades; si el alimento tiene piedrecitas, cabellos, astillas u otro cuerpo extraño; al asar una carne y parte de ella se quema, en esas partes quemadas se forma una sustancia llamada dioxina que ocasiona problemas digestivos; cuando no conocemos la procedencia de los alimentos que pueden contener residuos de pesticidas, de fertilizantes, exceso de aditivos o sustancias para mejorar el color, sabor, conservantes, que producen intoxicaciones y alergias. Descomposición es el proceso de degradación de los nutrientes del alimento.
