Le Comité régional du troisième âge de la Petite-Nation (CR3A) est un organisme à but non lucratif. Le but premier était de recréer l’esprit d’entraide qui existait autrefois dans les paroisses québécoises, en venant en aide aux plus démunis. On constatait que le CR3A avait de grands objectifs et ce, en tentant de sensibiliser les personnes âgées à l’importance que celles-ci pouvaient avoir auprès de leur communauté. En 2007, le 5 juin, lors de l'assemblée générale annuelle, les membres ont adopté une résolution afin de modifier notre appellation.
