The chlorine and nitrogen radicals may interact through ClO + NO2 = ClNO3 forming chlorine nitrate. This could be an important reaction from the point of view of ozone photochemistry because it removed radicals from both the chlorine and nitrogen systems, and it is these radicals that may play such a large role in the catalytic destruction of ozone. 5, record 1, English, - catalytic%20ozone%20destruction%20cycle

3, record 1, French, - cycle%20de%20destruction%20catalytique%20de%20l%27ozone
