It is evident that the mountains situated in the tropics have an almost equinoctial yearly sun pattern, whilst in the upper temperate and boreal zones the day span varies widely throughout the year. As a consequence, the daily temperature cycle in tropical mountains shows, all the year round, an almost continuous pattern of severe night frosts and high day temperatures, which implies there is a daily thaw. 1, record 1, English, - daily%20temperature%20cycle

1, record 1, French, - cycle%20quotidien%20de%20temp%C3%A9rature
