What sets DCD design apart from the conventional diamond interchange is that it combines left-turning traffic with through traffic. This is accomplished by directing left-turning and through vehicles to the opposite side of the road at ramp terminals. The result is that, between ramp terminals, both directions of traffic travelling over the bridge switch from the right-hand side to the left-hand side of the road. 4, record 1, English, - diverging%20diamond%20interchange

1, record 1, French, - %C3%A9changeur%20avec%20sens%20de%20circulation%20invers%C3%A9s
