En fait, il ne s'agit pas d'une demande d'audience, mais bien d'une demande visant à garantir que la totalité ou une partie de la procédure demeure confidentielle. Si un demandeur tient à ce que sa revendication soit entendue à huis clos, il doit présenter une telle demande lorsqu'une demande d'audience publique a été déposée, car la SSR (Section du statut de réfugié) n'a pas le pouvoir de statuer sur la demande d'audience publique, mais seulement sur la demande de confidentialité.
