Institution which was created between the Banco de España (Bank of Spain) and the credit institutions whose objective is to insure and protect client's deposits and balances until a certain amount are in financial institutions with a possible insolvency or bankruptcy. It has been used to save banks that are in crisis, and to allow partial contributions to come from the issuing bank and the financial institutions.
