La sensitométrie est la mesure du noircissement d'un support développé en fonction de l'éclairement qu'il subit. Ce noircissement est mesuré par la densité D, l'éclairement (ou lumination) est le produit de l'intensité lumineuse par la durée d'exposition H=I.t.
