La Fundación del Español Urgente (Fundéu BBVA), con el asesoramiento de la Real Academia Española, indica que, para referirse al hecho de enterrar un cadáver y a los servicios relacionados con el enterramiento, en español se emplea preferentemente el término "entierro".
