Organization which is established in Kingston, Ontario. The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience Canada (IAESTE) assists Canadian students of engineering, science, and technology to obtain work experience overseas as a supplement to university or college studies. IAESTE also helps to build technological and managerial understanding between Canada and other countries; promotes awareness of Canadian industry, products, and way of life; contributes to general international cooperation and understanding. IAESTE is a widespread non-profit organization founded in 1948 (Canada joined in 1953). Each of the 59 member countries of IAESTE secures offers of training in the relevant fields of study. Elle contribue également au rapprochement du Canada et des autres pays sur les plans de la technologie et de la gestion, s'emploie à faire connaître l'industrie et les produits canadiens ainsi que le mode de vie au Canada et participe de façon générale à la coopération et à l'entente sur le plan international. Vaste organisation à but non lucratif, cette association a été fondée en 1948, mais le Canada n'y adhère que depuis 1953.
