L'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments (ACIA) élargit une mise en garde publiée le 20 novembre dernier et sa mise à jour du lendemain, le 21 novembre au sujet des produits de gelée en mini-coupes qui renferment comme ingrédient du konjac, car ils posent un risque de suffocation. Le konjac mentionné sur la liste des ingrédients pourrait aussi être appelé glucomannan, konyak, gomme de konjac (konjac gum), conjac, ou konnuyaku. L'ACIA s'emploie, de concert avec les importateurs, à retirer ces produits du marché.
