Record 1 2008-11-24

English

Subject field(s)
  • Scientific Research Equipment
  • Insects, Centipedes, Spiders, and Scorpions
DEF

A mixture of gum arabic and chloral hydrate used as a microscope slide mounting in entomology.

CONT

Berlese's fluid (made by dissolving 15 g gum arabic in 20 ml distilled water and adding 10 ml glucose syrup and 5 ml acetic acid, the whole then being saturated with chloral hydrate, up to 100 g).

French

Domaine(s)
  • Matériel et équipement (Recherche scientifique)
  • Insectes, mille-pattes, araignées et scorpions
DEF
