English

Subject field(s)
  • Air Transport
CONT

The turning line should incorporate a straight portion at least 3 m in length at the final aircraft position. This provides a 1.5 m section prior to the final stopping position to relieve pressure on the landing gears ... and a section 1.5 m long after the stopping position to reduce the thrust required and, thereby, blast on "break away".

Domaine(s)
  • Transport aérien
CONT
