«Carottier de Mohr». - Ce carottier [...] est caractérisé par: - six clapets de pieds, - un fil métallique actionnant les clapets et sectionnant la carotte à sa base, - un tube d'air comprimé empêchant le pistonnement au moment de l'extraction. La carotte s'introduit dans sept chemises superposées de 30 cm de long chacune. L'appareil étant rempli et les chemises dégagées, on sépare celles-ci au moyen d'un fil métallique. Leurs extrémités étant paraffinées, on peut envoyer les échantillons au laboratoire. Cet appareil donne de bons résultats, sauf dans les terrains pulvérulents.
