A conveyor-belt driving member enclosing a driving motor.

CONT

The BDL [Company] drum motor, also referred to as a motorized pulley, is an advanced and highly efficient conveyor drive system where the motor, transmission and bearings are totaly enclosed within the drum shell. Power from the motor is transmitted through the gearbox which is coupled to a geared rim fixed to the drum end housing.

Le tambour moteur BDL, comparable à une poulie motorisée, est un produit de haute efficacité en matière de convoyeur système, le moteur et la transmission sont totalement inclus dans la virole du tambour. La puissance développée par le moteur est transmise au réducteur qui est couplé à la couronne de transmission, celle-ci est fixée sur le flasque de transmission.

Les moteurs-tambours sont couramment utilisés à l'heure actuelle, à un usage ménager pour les petites puissances, jusqu'à une utilisation industrielle intensive pour les moteurs de centaines de kilowatts. Dans les faibles puissances, le moteur-tambour se retrouve dans la fermeture automatique de volets, de stores roulants, de portes légères et dans un certain nombre d'applications de domotique [...] ces moteurs peuvent être adaptés pour les applications suivantes : convoyeurs, manutention, aéroports, etc. Enregistrement et équipements de contrôle, distribution/hangars, industrie agro-alimentaire. Applications automatisées particulières : portes souples/rideaux de protection, couvertures de piscines et de réservoirs industriels, toits roulants, machines agricoles, panneaux publicitaires de grande taille, nautisme (quai).
