On an annual basis, the Nominations and Awards Committee prepares a list of all elective offices to be filled, invites and receives in writing nominations for each elective office, rules on the eligibility of the nominees and, if necessary, makes further nominations to be sure there is at least one eligible nominee for each vacancy. Chaque année, le Comité des candidatures et distinctions prépare une liste de tous les postes élus à remplir, sollicite pour chacun des propositions écrites de candidature, décide si les candidats proposés sont éligibles et, au besoin, propose d'autres candidats afin de s'assurer qu'il y en ait au moins un d'éligible pour chaque poste vacant.
