The National Youth in Care Network (NYICN) is a non-profit, charitable organization run by and for young people, aged 14 to 24, who are or have been in the care of child welfare authorities across Canada. The NYICN was founded in 1986 by a group of young people dedicated to the idea of youth empowerment.
