A naturally derived wheat germ oil concentrate which has been clinically proven to increase oxygen utilization when exercising.

Octacosanol.This natural food supplement is taken from the finest part of the wheat germ, and athletes commend its endurance virtues. It is thought to improve muscle glycogen storage, stabilize basal metabolic rate, reduce high altitude stress, improve reaction time, reduce oxygen debt by improving oxygen utilization and ultimately improves endurance. Studies have shown that Octacosanol improves endurance and therefore relieves muscle pain after exercise. It has also been clinically proven to improve oxygen utilization when exercising.

[...] de nombreuses organisations de sports olympiques suggèrent l'utilisation d'octacosanol pour diminuer la gravité des accidents musculaires lors des entraînements intensifs. [...] Les nombreuses expérimentations réalisées avec l'octacosanol montrent les effets suivants : amélioration du stockage de glycogène dans le muscle; réduction des stress causés par la haute altitude; stabilité du métabolisme normal sous stress; amélioration du temps de réaction; amélioration de l'utilisation de l'oxygène et de l'endurance. Notons que plusieurs spécialistes utilisent cette poudre de couleur ivoire pour la réduction du cholestérol, les infirmités neuro-musculaires et chez les personnes prédisposées aux accidents cardio-vasculaires. Habituellement l'octacosanol provient du germe de blé très frais. Une quantité de dix livres de ce germe produit un milligramme d'octacosanol. Cela fait de ce produit concentré un excellent supplément.
