Les Œuvres Isidore Ostiguy constituent un organisme sans but lucratif (OSBL). Il a été dûment incorporé en août 1997 au terme de la troisième partie de la Loi sur les compagnies du Québec et reconnu à titre d'organisme de bienfaisance par Revenu Canada. En plus d'être un lieu de logements à prix modiques, avec appui communautaire, pour des personnes et familles itinérantes, cet immeuble est un carrefour d'expertise unique où est offert et dispensé toute une gamme de services spécialisés auprès de l'ensemble des locataires à revenu faible et modeste qui résident sur le territoire de la Communauté urbaine de l'Outaouais (CUO).
