The Operational and Technical Imagery Centre (OPTIC) is a high readiness, operations-focused team of visual communications professionals comprised of photographers, videographers and social media operators. The [OPTIC] also oversees Defence-wide imagery (unclassified material) standards, imagery equipment testing and life cycle management, and manages the National Defence Image Library (NDIL).
