Oculars for eye-protection without corrective effect are classified into a maximum of three optical classes according solely to their spherical, astigmatic and prismatic qualities.

OBS

Class 1 is the highest quality class having the tightest tolerances in accordance with the relevant standard. Class 3 is not recommended for prolonged use because of looser optical tolerances. [There are] individual product standards for tolerances for the respective classes.
