The OPTIMA study (Options in Management with Anti-retrovirals) is part of a tri-national clinical trials research initiative drawing together physicians and researchers through the national health programs of Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom in order to share knowledge and improve health outcomes in all three countries. The results of the OPTIMA study are expected to benefit AIDS patients around the world.
