Dégradation aérobique des composés aliphatiques. • Composés aromatiques : BTEX (benzène, toluène, éthylbenzène et xylène : un anneau aromatique) etPAH (hydrocarbures poly-aromatiques : > deux anneaux aromatiques fusionnés). 1. Hydroxylation : incorporation d’un ion hydroxyl sur l’anneau aromatique : réaction catalysée par monooxygénase ou dioxygénase : formation de catéchol. 2. Clivage de l’anneau aromatique du catéchol par un deuxième enzyme dioxygénase et ainsi de suite jusqu’à dégradation complète.
