tungsten-inert gas welding: Welding in which an arc plasma from a non consumable tungsten electrode radiates heat onto the work surface, to create a weld puddle in a protective atmosphere provided by a flow of inert shielding gas; heat must then travel by conduction from this puddle to melt the desired depth of weld. Abbreviated TIG welding. 2, record 1, English, - tungsten%20inert%20gas%20DC%20welding%20procedure

2, record 1, French, - proc%C3%A9d%C3%A9%20T%2EI%2EG%2E%20en%20courant%20continu
