The Proctor test itself consists of dropping a 2.5 kg hammer with 5.1 cm diameter face from a height of 0.30 m onto the soil specimen confined in a 10.2 cm diameter mould. The soil must be compacted in 3 equal layers, each to receive 25 blows of the hammer. 3, record 1, English, - Proctor%20test
