Companion Rescue refers to the actions taken by fellow group members if an individual is buried. Experience and statistics show that fully buried avalanche victims who are still alive when the avalanche stops moving must be found out quickly (within 15 minutes) to have reasonable chances of survival ... In light of this, the efforts of the people who survive and/or witness an accident are crucial to the survival of victims. If the companion rescue fails to find buried victims, it is likely that organized rescue teams will arrive too late to make a live recovery. 2, record 1, English, - companion%20rescue

1, record 1, French, - sauvetage%20de%20compagnon
