There are separate second language tests to assess each of three skills: reading, writing and oral interaction. Each test assesses the three levels (A, B, or C) of second language proficiency that may be required for bilingual positions in the Public Service of Canada. Candidates who obtain a score high enough that they need not be tested again on a given test are exempted from taking it in the future. All tests are administered in test centres located in departments and in PSC regional offices. Requests for testing are made through the official languages section of departments. Second Language Evaluation tests cannot be used for assessing first language ability. 6, record 1, English, - Second%20Language%20Evaluation

7, record 1, French, - %C3%89valuation%20de%20langue%20seconde
