Part of the Canada-United States Transportation Border Working Group (TBWG). This subcommittee was formed in Spring 2003 to take a multi-jurisdictional approach to the identification of various data needs, and explore opportunities to work collaboratively for data collection activities. There have been several bi-national meetings (usually held in conjunction with TBWG plenary meetings), a Border Data Workshop and numerous conference calls. Sucommittee activities are coordinated by an overarching steering committee, which is currently chaired by the U.S. Federal Highway Administration. Relève du Groupe de travail sur les questions frontalières de transport du Canada et des États-Unis (GTQFT). Ce sous-comité a été créé au printemps 2003 pour adopter une approche multigouvernementale de la définition des divers besoins en données et d'examiner les occasions de recueillir des données en collaboration. Il y a eu plusieurs réunions binationales (tenues d'ordinaire en même temps que les réunions plénières du GTQFT), un atelier sur les données frontalières et de nombreuses téléconférences. Les activités du Sous-Comité sont coordonnées par un comité directeur général, que la Federal Highway Administration des États-Unis préside actuellement.
