The Tobacco Demand Reduction Strategy (TDRS) [administered by Health Canada] was a three-year strategy introduced by the Federal Government in February 1994 to minimize the anticipated negative impact of tax cuts on the consumption of tobacco products. La Stratégie de réduction de la demande de tabac (SRDT) [administrée par Santé Canada] est uen stratégie triennale que le gouvernement fédéral a lancée en février 1994 en vue de minimiser les effets néfastes anticipés des réductions des taxes à la consommation sur les produits du tabac.
