La Fundación del Español Urgente aclara que el plural en español de la palabra tóner es tóneres. [...] en español, además de ser el nombre del pigmento, también se usa tóner para denominar al cartucho o carcasa de plástico que lo contiene, es decir, se llama tóner tanto al contenido como al continente; de ahí que esa palabra también se use en plural y surjan las dudas: ¿es "los tóner", "los tóners" o "los tóneres"?
