A pot-vitrification process has been developed for the fixation of fission products either in phosphate or borosilicate glasses. 1, record 1, English, - pot%2Dvitrification

The discontinuous/one stage process is a "pot vitrification process". The three phases follow one another in the same unit, the "pot". The liquid waste and glass forming additives are introduced simultaneously and slowly heated and solidified by heating the pot in a furnace up to the glass formation temperature. The pot is then removed from the furnace and serves as the storage container. The feeding process and the heating method may be altered. 2, record 1, English, - pot%2Dvitrification

4, record 1, French, - vitrification%20en%20pot
