This system is most commonly found at the wheels hubs, replacing axle nuts for fastening the front or back wheels to the front or rear dropouts and allowing rapid removal and replacement of the wheel in case of a flat tire without the need for tools, by turning the lever through 180°. The system is also found at the top of the seat tube for clamping the seatpost into the seat tube and allowing the rider to raise and lower the seat while mounted. The levered quick release system may also be present at the front and rear brakes, this time as an adjustment lever that causes the caliper arms to spread, thereby allowing the wheel to be removed without deflating the tires. 2, record 29, English, - quick%2Drelease%20lever

Polyethersulfone is a new high-temperature engineering thermoplastic with an outstanding long-term resistance to creep at temperatures up to 150°C. It is also capable of being used continuously under load at temperatures of up to about 180°C and, in some low-stress applications, up to 200°C.... While the sulfone group confers high-temperature performance, the ether linkage contributes toward practical processing by allowing mobility of the polymer chain when in the melt phase.... Polyethersulfone is especially resistant to acids, alkalies, oils, greases, and aliphatic hydrocarbons and alcohols. It is attacked by ketones, esters, and some halogenated and aromatic hydrocarbons. 3, record 60, English, - polyethersulfone

Cork Insulation. Cork is the outer bark of an oak tree that flourishes only in the area surrounding the western Mediterranean Sea. Instead of being fibrous in structure, the bark of the cork oak is composed of tiny cells, so small that there are 200 million of them to every cubic inch of cork bark. These tiny cells give cork a high resistance to the passage of heat. Each cell is filled with still air, and next to a vacuum, still air is the best insulation known. Because the cells are so tiny, no convection currents in the air can be established to reduce its insulation properties. The cellular structure gives the material its high degree of natural moisture resistance. Each tiny cork cell is a perfect geometric shape, having 14 sides. The volume of cork includes more than 75% air. Its thermal conductivity is 0. 26 Btu per square foot per hour per degree temperature difference at 60 degrees F.(metric), and 0. 30 Btu per square foot per degree temperature difference at 180 degrees F(metric). 2, record 83, English, - cork%20insulation

Antenne d'un ADF [Automatic Direction Finder]. [...] 2, record 97, French, - antenne%20de%20lever%20de%20doute

The homeobox is a semiconserved DNA sequence of 180 nucleotides found within the coding region of many eukaryotic genes, which constitute a multigene family of homeobox genes or homeogenes.
