A linear accelerometer using a single-degree-of-freedom gyro having a pendulosity along the spin axis that is servo-driven about the input axis at a rate that balances the torque induced by sensed acceleration along the input axis. The angle through which the servoed axis rotates is proportional to the integral of the sensed acceleration. 3, record 6, English, - pendulous%20integrating%20gyroscopic%20accelerometer

The intercontinental ballistic missiles(ICBM) and submarine-launched ballistic missiles(SLBM) developed over the past 50 years have employed successive generations of increasingly accurate inertial guidance systems. The comparatively short time of guided flight and high acceleration levels characteristic of the ballistic missile application place a premium on accelerometer performance to achieve desired weapon system accuracy. To date, the accelerometer design of choice for strategic missiles has been the Pendulous Integrating Gyroscopic Accelerometer(PIGA) instrument, an accelerometer whose origins trace back to the German V2 rocket, and has been refined through several generations of development to achieve unsurpassed performance. 4, record 6, English, - pendulous%20integrating%20gyroscopic%20accelerometer

Modul Couped Sash Windows have been designed to offer the highest levels of acoustic performance without recourse to expensive special glass or gasfilled sealed units. The most efficient and cost-effective way of achieving good noise insulation lies in the introduction of a large air void between inner and outer glazing panes. Modul windows achieve an air gap of typically 55mm to 85mm between the inner and outer sashes and this expanse permits sound reduction levels of up to Rw 45dB to be met using only standard 6mm and 4mm panes of glass. 2, record 8, English, - acoustic%20performance

Performance acoustique. 3, record 8, French, - performance%20acoustique
