TSA uses temperature in order to regenerate the adsorbent. At low temperatures, adsorbents can retain significant amounts of water. At temperatures above 200 °C, however, adsorbents hold almost no water. By swinging the temperature from low to high, it is possible to adsorb large quantities of moisture at low temperature, such as 40 °C, and release it at high temperature. 1, record 1, English, - temperature%20swing%20adsorption

Type of chromatography developed following the observation that certain proteins were unexpectedly retained on affinity gels containing hydrophobic spacer arms. This concept was extended, and families of hydrophobic adsorbents prepared using a homologous series of hydrocarbon chains of different lengths. In practice most proteins can be satisfactorily purified using C-8 or phenyl substituents. Hydrophobic interactions are strongest at high ionic strength, so adsorption to a hydrophobic matrix can be conveniently performed after a salt precipitation or ion exchange chromatography step. Elution can be effected by altering the solvent ionic strength, pH, or composition or by the use of a dielectric constant modifier such as ethanediol. 2, record 11, English, - hydrophobic%20chromatography

When carrying out the hydrophobic chromatography of human urokinase..., the solution containing the crude urokinase which is prepared from human urine in the usual simple method, is adjusted to a salt concentration of 0. 2 to 2 M, preferably 0. 2 to 1 M. The solution is then made to flow through the hydrophobic column packed with the protein adsorbent of this process.... The pH is not critical when carrying out the hydrophobic chromatography, however, the pH is usually adjusted to pH 5. 5 to 10, preferably 6 to 8. 5 at which pH urokinase is stable against inactivation. Purified urokinase can be obtained by treating the effluent from the hydrophobic column in a usual method, namely by lyophilization after desalting. 3, record 11, English, - hydrophobic%20chromatography

The detection of spots is sometimes easier than with paper chromatography because more universal techniques can be used. Frequently, colorless or nonfluorescent spots can be visualized by exposing the developed plate to iodine vapor. The iodine vapor interacts with the sample components, either chemically or by solubility, to produce a color. Thin-layer plates and sheets are commercially available which incorporate a fluorescent dye in the powdered adsorbent. When held under ultraviolet light, dark spots appear where sample spots occur due to quenching of the plate fluorescence. 3, record 36, English, - spot

Preparation of bleach chemicals. All conventional bleaching chemicals can be produced from air, water and brine(NaCl solution) utilizing varying amounts of energy. Since the raw materials are cheap, it follows that manufacturing costs are mainly a function of how much energy is expended. Oxygen. Two systems are utilized for oxygen generation : cryogenic air separation and absorption-based separation.... The adsorption-based oxygen plant yields a gas product and is suitable only for onsite generation.... adsorption systems separate air at ambient temperatures using molecular sieve adsorbents. The adsorbent picks up nitrogen and other impurities at the system feed pressure, while the product oxygen passes straight through the bed. After the bed is saturated with nitrogen, it is regenerated by lowering the pressure to release the adsorbed components. Adsorption processes are cyclical, and multiple beds are used to maintain continuous oxygen production. 1, record 51, English, - adsorption%2Dbased%20separation

1, record 53, French, - test%20de%20transfert%20de%20la%20T3
