The digital revolution refers to the rapid evolution and proliferation of digital technologies and the impact they have had on culture and society. The term is often used to denote the phenomenal spread of computers, but it actually refers to the shift from analog to digital in a broad spectrum of communications technologies, from computers to video to cell phones and beyond.
