… we describe a new spectral nodal method for solving discrete ordinates(SN) neutron transport problems with anisotropic scattering for arbitrary order N of angular quadrature. The key to our new spectral nodal method is a consistent derivation of nonstandard auxiliary equations that relate angular neutron fluxes only in the upwind directions. These nonstandard equations are angularly coupled extensions of very basic auxiliary equations proposed by Edward W. Larsen in his extended diamond scheme of solving S2 problems in the presence of scattering and free from spatial truncation error. 1, record 7, English, - diamond%20scheme

Polymer bonded magnets are widely being used in many automotive and non-automotive industries. Because of their many advantages such as low weight, resistance to corrosion and ease of machining the demand for bonded magnets is rising sharply ... But, the presently available bonded magnets are limited in their applications at high temperatures due to the low energy product and poor heat resistance properties. Therefore, a need exists to develop bonded magnets with higher energy product that can withstand operating temperatures of at least 180°C and higher. A key issue is the identification of suitable magnetic powders and polymer matrices, which can perform satisfactorily at the desired temperatures. 1, record 34, English, - bonded%20magnet

1, record 34, French, - aimant%20li%C3%A9

Null-shift or bias errors are caused by a laser cavity, which is anisotropic with respect to the light beams traveling in opposite directions. The primary mechanism causing an anisotropic cavity is the flow of the laser medium(helium-neon gas) moving in the cavity. V-Groove Multijunction Solar Cell. This is another series multi-junction structure. It is made with a novel manufacturing process and provided with an integral glass front cover.... The oxidized p or n Si wafer is bonded to a glass plate by a known electro-thermal bonding technique. Anisotropic etching... is used to isolate Si into islands with V-shaped grooves. Shadowing by the neighboring islands and the oxide overhang allows n+ and p+ regions to be ion-implanted as well as make possible the interconnection of the neighboring islands. 1, record 47, English, - V%2Dgroove%20multijunction%20solar%20cell

Following up the twenty year old work of M. E. Fisher, it was shown(SC, SK) that for anisotropic two-dimensional lattices there can be two-dimensional distributions of zeros. Shortly before this, B. Derrida, L. DeSeze, and C. Itzykson found fractal patterns in so-called hierarchical lattices. The particular attraction of this discovery was that it used renormalization theory in an essential way, described in detail in the following section. 1, record 48, English, - hierarchical%20lattice
