Abstract of the disclosure. Membrane separation under perstraction conditions of a lube oil distillate is disclosed which produces a retentate rich in non-aromatics hydrocarbons and alkyl aromatic and a permeate rich in multi-ring aromatics. The recovered retentate is similar to a solvent extracted raffinate but possesses a higher concentration of alkyl-single ring aromatics. The membrane separation process is highly selective for removing multi-ring aromatics from the lube distillate. 1, record 3, English, - perstraction

Many reactants of industrial interest, such as steroids, alkanes and aromatic derivatives, are either water-insoluble or water-immiscible. In some cases the water-insoluble reactants may be solubilized in a non-aqueous solvent. The design of immobilised biocatalysts and reactors for these reactants will require a much greater understanding of such multi-liquid phase systems, especially the rates of transfer of reactants and products and the effects of the reactants and solvents, when used, on the activity and stability of the biocatalyst. 3, record 12, English, - product

3, record 12, French, - produit

Kraton G series 1657 rubber is used as an additive to low molecular weight resins such as Regalrez 1094. When using Kraton rubber always be sure to use Tinuvin 292. The rubber improves the flexibility of a final varnish, improves scratch resistance and increases the varnishes viscosity which yields a better feeling varnish when applying by brush(low molecular weight resins tend to feel very thin). Kraton G 1657 can be added in the range of 1-3% by weight of resin. One helpful hint, Kraton rubber does not dissolve well in low aromatic solvents, try pre-dissolving the Kraton rubber in a small amount of high aromatic solvent such as xylene. 3, record 17, English, - high%20aromatic%20solvent

In some cases, the water-insoluble reactants may be solubilized in a non-aqueous solvent. The design of immobilised biocatalysts and reactors for these reactants will require a much greater understanding of such multi-liquid phase systems, especially the rates of transfer of reactants and products and the effects of the reactants and solvents, when used, on the activity and stability of the biocatalyst. 1, record 21, English, - multi%2Dliquid%20phase%20system
