Nitrostarch, also called NS... is actually a mixture of several nitrate esters of starch.... Since this is really a variety of nitrated products the formula is [C₆H₇(OH) _x(ONO₂) _y]_n where x+y=3 and n is any whole number from one on up. The exact composition depends on the reaction conditions during the nitration. A vibratinex tumbler filler is described in which filling takes place inside a revolving drum, buckets on the wall of the drum carry mushrooms on to a vibrating tray in the centre, the mushrooms fall freely into cans, and excess is carried back to the tray in buckets. Aseptic juice processing with pulp.... Raw product from the balance tank is transported by a booster pump through the raw regenerator section where it is pre-heated by sterile product form the sterile regenerator. The product then flows to the timing pump, which controls the product flow rate of the system. Pre-heated raw product enters the heater section from the timing pump and is heated to the sterilizing temperature before entering the holding tube. Processed product from the holding tube enters the sterile regenerator section where it is pre-cooled by incoming product form the raw regenerator.
