Flexibility refers to the range of motion around a joint.... The ability to successfully perform many movements and skills depends on the range of motion... For instance, to hit a high ball during a soccer game, players have to lift their leg to chest level, so they must be flexible enough to go beyond that level.... Flexibility is not improved in one or two stretching sessions but rather with an ongoing emphasis on statically and dynamically engaging the various muscles and joints with a variety of stretching exercises. 2, record 1, English, - flexibility

The offload can be one of the most exciting and rewarding skills in the game of rugby union. The ability to deliver an accurate pass while in contact with the enemy is an art form in itself, and leads to high proportion of line break successes for the attacking side who can it execute well. The idea is that attacking play remains fluid and continuous just as the defence is preparing to stop and reset for another phase. The defenders think that the ball is momentarily "dead" after a tackle has been made and that there will be an opportunity to regroup. The offload shows unexpectedly that this will not be the case, and in that small moment there is a chink of light for the attack. 2, record 2, English, - offload

During this phase of the kicking game, three players use special techniques : the kicker(who makes the kick), the holder(who catches the ball from the center and places it on the tee), and the center,(also known as the short snapper(who centers the ball back to the holder). 4, record 3, English, - kicking%20game

Football 5-a-side made its Paralympic debut at the Athens Games in 2004 and is open to athletes with visual impairments. There are five players on each team and the game lasts 50 minutes. Rules are similar to the able-bodied game with a few modifications. The ball makes noise when it moves and everyone, aside from the goalkeeper, uses eye shades to ensure fairness. The goalkeeper may be sighted and act as a guide during the game. Also, the measurements of the field are smaller and there are no offside rulings. 6, record 5, English, - football%205%2Da%2Dside

2, record 26, French, - mouche%20principale

A variation of basic pocket billiards played in championship competition. This game differs from basic pocket billiards chiefly in 2 respects. First, the player is required to designate both the ball he intends to pocket and the pocket. Failure to make the called shot is a miss and ends his inning. Second, once 14 balls have been pocketed, they are racked again. The player continues play by pocketing the 15th ball and caroming the cue ball into the racked balls or by driving a called ball from the racked balls into a pocket. Each time 14 balls have been pocketed, they are reracked and play continues to the end of the game. The number of points set for a game is usually 125 or 150. 1, record 28, English, - 14%2E1%20continuous

5, record 41, Spanish, - %C3%A1rbitro

Any stroke that for some reason is replayed without penalty. In an average game, only two types of let are encountered : 1) when called solely in respect of a service that one service only shall be replayed; 2) when called under any other circumstance, the point shall be replayed. For instance, a serve that nicks the top of the net, then bounces in the proper service court is to be replayed. By extension, also a call made by the umpire or by one of the players to indicate that a point should be replayed because of a stray ball rolling across the court. Sometimes the term "let" is mistakenly referred to as a "net serve". A "let" is also played if, for instance, the receiver of a service is not ready to start; if one player involuntarily hinders his opponent; or if a player is hindered in playing by an external agency. 2, record 56, English, - let

Service lets. If, during t he serving process a let is called because the ball served touched the top of the net and fell in the service area, that serve, and that serve only is taken over again. 3, record 56, English, - let

Caution: If the ball touches the net on a service, the net judge will call "net", or sometimes "filet"(French Open). The umpire, however, will call "let", since "let" is the official call he must make. This distinction is not always upheld in social play, where informally one hears the following expressions: "two", "take two", or "play two", i.e. take two serves since the first one touched the net (and landed in), "play one", "take one", "second serve", i.e. first serve touched the net and landed out. Moreover, for precision, the term "let" is sometimes qualified: service let. 2, record 56, English, - let

The game of horseball is played in a normal riding area with elevated goals at opposing ends. Two teams of four players attempt to score by shooting the ball into the opponent's goal. A brilliant element of the game of horseball is that each team must make at least three passes between three different members before it is qualified to score. Therefore all team members must collaborate for each event of offense and defense, which is why the game is referred to as “collective” or “inclusive” amongst all of its players. No player is ever much removed from the action. Because of the goals, the mandatory passing game, and the quick pace of action, horseball is often compared to basketball. 3, record 69, English, - horseball

Some American versions use a volleyball. It is transported by bouncing it between hands and floor - much as in basketball. A player may only hold the ball for three seconds and may only take three steps with the ball in hand. ... field handball, team court game. Despite its status as an Olympic sport, the game is virtually unknown in the United States. Originated in central Europe in the early 1900s as an outdoor game, it combines elements of soccer and basketball. The fast-paced play of 7-or 11-person teams has as its object the hurling of a cantaloupe-sized ball into a goal. Players may run or dribble three steps with the ball, but most advancement comes from passing. Fouls result in free throws and penalty throws. 2, record 75, English, - field%20handball

Each team is given 4 downs in which to score or lose possession of the ball, and each member of a team is eligible to catch a forward pass. All players wear flags usually attached to special belts, but sometimes the game is played with handkerchiefs hanging from hip pockets instead of with the special flags. 2, record 85, English, - flag%20football

The fast break, or free-lance, style is a helter-skelter type of offense. The ball is grabbed by the center as it rebounds off the backboard, and he passes it to one of his guards or forwards as quickly as possible. The idea is to give the opposition little or no time to regroup and set its defense. As a result, the fast-breaking team may have as many as three or four players going against two defenders. A form of softball for men and women with 10 players on the defensive team : 3 in the field, 3 on the bases, a pitcher, a shortstop, a catcher and a roover who is allowed to move anywhere though he usually plays in the area where the infield and the outfield meet. The game gets its name from the fact that the ball must be thrown 6 feet in the air by the pitcher; any ball so pitched without an attempt to strike it puts the batter out automatically. If pitched less than 6 feet high, it is declared "ball" by the referee; it takes 4 balls for a base on balls. Stolen bases on passed balls or otherwise are not permitted; the ball must be struck before a player on a base is allowed to run. The home plate is 18 inches by 4 feet. 2, record 100, English, - blooperball

1, record 100, French, - blooperball
