Flexibility refers to the range of motion around a joint.... The ability to successfully perform many movements and skills depends on the range of motion... For instance, to hit a high ball during a soccer game, players have to lift their leg to chest level, so they must be flexible enough to go beyond that level.... Flexibility is not improved in one or two stretching sessions but rather with an ongoing emphasis on statically and dynamically engaging the various muscles and joints with a variety of stretching exercises. 2, record 1, English, - flexibility

There are a number of bat and ball games played only in certain parts of the world. Most of theses games are variations of cricket or baseball.... Rounders is an English game. It is often played as a casual game with a stick and a ball, but it has a proper set of rules. It is played 9-a-side, and each side has two innings. The batsmen use a wooden bat called a stick and try to score rounders. The bowler bowls with a smooth underarm action from a distance of 24 1/2 feet(7. 5 m). The four bases are posts 3 ft. 11 in.(1. 2 m) high. The batsman tries to hit the ball and then run around the outside of the posts to the fourth post in order to score a rounder. To score, you have to reach the fourth post on your own hit. If you stop at a post, you may run home when a teammate hits the ball, but you do not score. You join the end of the batting line. You can be out if the ball is caught, or if a fielder touches you or the post with the ball. When all the batsmen are out, the innings is over. 3, record 9, English, - rounders

4, record 9, French, - balle%20au%20camp

When all the batsmen are out, the innings are over. 3, record 10, English, - rounders

1, record 10, French, - ronde

The pitch shot is used when the ball is from 15 feet to 75 yards from the green. The eight or nine iron or a pitching wedge is used to give the ball loft and backspin. This shot is hit high to a spot near the flagstick, where backspin causes it to stop. 3, record 11, English, - pitch%20shot

Chip shots differ from pitch shots in that pitch shots are meant to have a higher trajectory that results in a shot landing closer to the pin and rolling just a bit. Pitch shots are typically played from farther off the green than chips shots. 4, record 11, English, - pitch%20shot
