The aileron roll is an aerobatic maneuver in which an aircraft does a full 360° revolution about its longitudinal axis. When executed properly, there is no appreciable change in altitude and the aircraft exits the maneuver on the same heading as it entered. 4, record 1, English, - aileron%20roll

... a barrel roll [is] so called because the airplane's flight path is not along a straight line, as in a pure aileron roll or slow roll, but along a helical path, as if it were spiraling along the surface of an invisible cylinder or barrel. 5, record 1, English, - aileron%20roll

The barrel roll is a combination between a loop and a roll. You complete one loop while completing one roll at the same time. The flight path during a barrel roll has the shape of a horizontal cork screw. Imagine a big barrel, with the airplanes wheels rolling along the inside of the barrel in a cork screw path. 2, record 2, English, - barrel%20roll

A sub-formation of a large formation is called a "piece". Many sequential dives have pieces moving or turning with respect to each other. Piece flying is the result of cooperative efforts from everyone in the piece. Individuals within the piece have specialized flying jobs. These jobs relate to specific piece maneuvers. Successful piece flying is doing your job and letting others do their job. 2, record 3, English, - piece%20flying

When the accident aircraft reached the approximate point in space where the lead pair of aircraft had rejoined, it began a very fast negative G "barrel" roll to the right, completing a full roll in about 3. 5 seconds. Although the aircraft roll rate slowed at wings level, the negative G continued and shortly thereafter the roll to the right commenced again. 2, record 5, English, - negative%20g

Subject to acceleration in the vertical plane in the opposite-to-normal sense, e.g. aircraft in sustained inverted flight or in pushover from steep climb to steep dive; wings are bent "downwards" (relative to aircraft attitude) and pilot can experience "red-out." This condition is intermittently inevitable in severe turbulence but is normally prohibited for non-aerobatic aircraft. 4, record 5, English, - negative%20g
