GP 2000 Grout Pump. Description: The MBT GP2000 is a spiral (Rotor/Stator) pump used for mixing and pumping of cementitious grouts and the spraying of repair mortars and small volumes of shotcrete. It will deliver approximately 2m’ per hour of any pumpable material with an aggregate size up to 4mm. The stator has an adjustable clamp housing which maintains a constant output pressure and lengthens the service life of the pump parts. Recommended for: placement of grouts for encapsulating cables and rock anchors - particularly in mining applications, spraying of repair mortars, spraying of shotcrete. 4, record 10, English, - grout%20cement%20pump

In general terms, grouting refers to the injection of a suitable binding admixture into the ground as a means to fill voids, consolidate loose formations, stabilize structures, or as an isolating barrier. It can be classified under three main areas in construction applications. a. Cement grouting : A combination of mixtures such as cement/sand/bentonite is used to fill voids and can consolidate coarse soils, sands, gravels and the like. Usually pumped into a drilled bore hole under low to medium pressure or by the tube-et-manchette method. b. Chemical grouting... c. L-glutamic acid. Especially important in brain metabolism. Functions as a brain fuel serving as an excitatory neurotransmitter. Transports potassium across the blood brain barrier. Combines to form L-Glutamine and in the process picks up ammonia radicals. This is the only method the brain has of detoxifying ammonia. Instrumental in the metabolism of other amino acids. Metabolizes sugars and fats. 2, record 11, English, - L%2Dglutamic%20acid

Other blow molding operations.... Fluorination surface treatment is a process to improve the gas barrier of polyethylene to nonpolar solvents. A barrier is created by the chemical reaction of the fluorine and the polyethylene, which form a thin(20-40 nm) fluorocarbon layer on the bottle surface. Two systems are available for creating the layer. The "in-process" system uses fluorine as a part of the parison expand gas in the blowing operation. The "post-treatment" system requires bottles to be placed in an enclosed chamber filled with fluorine gas. The method forms a barrier layer on both the inside and outside surfaces. This surface treatment allows low-cost, blow-molded polyethylene bottles to be used for paint, paint thinner, lighter fluid, polishes, cleaning solvents, cosmetics, and toiletries. The approach can replace other higher cost resins or coextrusion processes. 1, record 12, English, - fluorination%20surface%20treatment

However, barrier spraying hopper bands is by far the most economical method of halting an upsurge of locusts, since hopper bands are much less mobile than swarms and the infested area is relatively stationary for weeks at a time. 4, record 13, English, - barrier%20treatment

Controlling noise outdoors. The most effective method of noise control outdoors is to separate the source and receiver in space... Walls and earth banks can be used to control many types of outdoor noise, but the effectiveness of any barrier depends on how well it cuts off the line-of-sight path between source and receiver. 2, record 14, English, - outdoor%20acoustics
