cartridge box : This rather loose designation for military accoutrements designed for carrying cartridges on the body of the soldier must include both the cartridge pocket and the pouch, as these terms are found to be influenced as much by language and official designation as by their shape. Regardless of varied style, they all have the feature of being suspended from the shoulder or waist, by belting or harness... Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden is popularly credited with introducing the widespread use of cartridges by infantry. 3, record 12, English, - cartridge%20box

2, record 12, French, - giberne

The hollow spike belt consists of two rows of hollow spikes inserted in 4-ply, woven rubber belting with segmented metal back plating. The spikes are case hardened, the tips of which are ground to a fifteen degree angle and then teflon coated to allow easier penetration. Simply unroll it across the highway in the suspect vehicle's path. When the vehicle passes over the spikes, they penetrate the front tires, break loose from the belt and cause air to escape. 1, record 16, English, - hollow%20spike%20belt

A belt conveyor to serve between a loader or continuous miner and the main transport. It consists of two main units-a head and a tail section-each mounted on crawler tracks and independently driven. In operation, the tail unit, i. e. the receiving end, moves forward with the loading machine, and belting is automatically released from a loop take-up. Fifty feet advance is possible before additional belting has to be inserted into the conveyor run. Capacity equals 280 t. p. h. with a 30-in. belt. 2, record 17, English, - Joy%20extensible%20conveyor

1, record 17, French, - convoyeur%20extensible
