A bodybuilding exercise performed by completing the following movements : standing or sitting on the edge of a bench, take a dumbbell in each hand and bend over until your torso is about parallel to the ground. Keeping your arms slightly bent, raise both dumbbells laterally until your upper arms are about level with your shoulders. Return to the starting position.

The North American Vertical Datum of 1988(NAVD 88) is the vertical control datum established in 1991 by the minimum-constraint adjustment of the Canadian-Mexican-United States leveling observations. It held fixed the height of the primary tidal bench mark, referenced to the new International Great Lakes Datum of 1985 local mean sea level height value, at Father Point/Rimouski, Quebec, Canada.

The Alberta Powerlifting Union(APU) is a provincial affiliate to the Canadian Powerlifting Union(CPU). It is a completely non-profit and volunteer organization regulating both 3-lift Powerlifting and Bench Press Only within the province of Alberta. The APU is dedicated to it's mission of : promoting and developing drug tested powerlifting on a provincial scale, providing a safe and fair environment for which to compete in powerlifting, maintaining and enforcing the rules of the sport by appointing and training qualified referees, hosting and regulating... provincial championships as vessels for athletes to progress to a national level of competition.

The CBEF provides a controlled temperature, humidity and CO²-level environment for fundamental life sciences research on small plants, animals, cells, tissues and microorganisms. A type of aerobics class in which participants step up and down on, and around, their own individual "steps" or "benches", working both upper and lower body muscles.

The step class follows a different format than a traditional aerobic class. The cardiovascular section is extended up to about 35 minutes in a 60 minute class.
