The frequency at which a sound wave incident upon a surface has a projected wavelength equal to the length of the bending wave excited in the surface material. The effect of this "trace matching" is a marked reduction in the sound transmission loss in the frequency region in which this occurs. The frequency is a function of the angle at which the sound impinges on the surface, the surface weight, and bending stiffness of the surface. 2, record 2, English, - coincidence%20frequency

2, record 3, French, - appareil%20de%20mesure%20de%20la%20solidit%C3%A9%20des%20os
