Snow Nose : Dog Nose Turning Pink. Your dog's nose is changing color and you try to understand what's happening? If your dog's nose has changed its color from black or brown to pink he might have a snow nose.... In some cases, the fading pigment is not too bad and affects only the center of the nose. In other cases, the dogs have a solid pink nose with only some tiny speckles of pigment by the time the color fading stops. Typically, there is some of the original pigment left around the nose's upper rim.... But it seems to be possible to breed away from this type of nose hypopigmentation, at least to some degree. 3, record 1, English, - snow%20nose

... some dogs start to lose some of their nose pigment as they age. ... In many cases, a dog’s nose is getting lighter in winter and gets back some pigment during summer. The Ayrshire cattle is a breed of dairy cattle originated from Ayrshire in Scotland. The average mature Ayrshire cow weighs 1000-1300 pounds. Ayrshires have red markings. The red can be an orange to a dark brown, with or without colored legs. They are known for low somatic cell counts, ability to convert grass into milk efficiently, and hardiness. The breed's strongpoints are the now desired traits of easy calving and longevity. 1, record 6, English, - Ayrshire

In 1898, the Polo Pony Society(now the National Pony Society) set up Local Committees to produce descriptions of each of England's native breeds. Apart from the height, the original description of the Dartmoor was almost identical to the present breed standard.... Dartmoor ponies stand an average of twelve hands(48") at the withers. They are dark in color, mostly bay, brown or black with an occasional gray or chestnut. White markings, if any, are very small. As a hearty moorland breed, the Dartmoor is sturdy in conformation, more similar to a warm blood type than to the elegant Welsh. 2, record 7, English, - Dartmoor

2, record 7, French, - dartmoor
