The Latvian Arts and Crafts Association in Canada was established in 1953 as a means of drawing together the many Latvian artisans living in the Toronto area. Their skills currently include weaving, embroidery, knitting, spinning, felting, quilting, jewellery making, wood carving, traditional straw work, pottery and stained glass making.
